The clan featured in *Predator: Badlands* is led by Njohrr, a father who believes his runt son Dek should be culled for being too weak. Njohrr orders Dek's brother Kwei to kill him, but Kwei defies the order and sends Dek to the death planet Genna. Njohrr then executes Kwei. The clan's values are centered on strength and the hunt, with Njohrr demanding Dek prove himself worthy. Dek later returns to Yautja Prime, presents Tessa's skull to his father as a trophy, and demands his own cloaking device. When Njohrr refuses and orders his bodyguards to kill Dek, Dek defeats them, cuts off his father's arm, and restrains him. Dek rejects Njohrr's offer of a place in the clan, having found his own clan with Thia and Bud. An older and larger Bud bites Njohrr's head off, and Dek takes the cloaking device. Njohrr's remaining clan members pull out their weapons as a large Yautja ship appears, which Dek reveals is his mother.

In Their Own Story

Dek, a Yautja runt from Yautja Prime, seeks approval from his father, clan leader Njohrr, by planning to hunt the Kalisk, an apex predator on the death planet Genna. Before Dek can leave, Njohrr arrives and orders Dek's brother Kwei to kill him. Kwei defies the order, activates his ship to transport Dek to Genna, and fights Njohrr but is defeated and loses an arm. Dek watches helplessly as Njohrr executes Kwei. After crash-landing on Genna, Dek allies with Thia, a damaged Weyland-Yutani android. Dek later reveals to Thia that his father killed Kwei, prompting Thia to teach him about wolves on Earth—that the alpha wolf protects the pack, not kills the most. Dek misunderstands initially but later realizes the truth after healing his wounds and venting his anger. He uses Genna's environment to create improvised weapons to rescue Thia. Dek returns to Yautja Prime, presents Tessa's skull to Njohrr, and demands a cloaking device. When Njohrr refuses and orders his bodyguards to kill Dek, Dek defeats them, cuts off Njohrr's arm, and restrains him. Njohrr offers Dek a place in the clan, claiming he was wrong, but Dek rejects it, having found his own clan with Thia and Bud. Bud bites Njohrr's head off, and Dek takes the cloaking device.
