Scarred Predator
A Predator who marks himself with Alien blood and allies with a human in the hunt.
The Scarred Predator is one of three Predators — Scar, Celtic, and Chopper — who come to Earth in the 2004 film *Alien vs. Predator* to create and hunt Aliens within a pyramid beneath Bouvet Island as a rite of passage. Played by Ian Whyte, Scar is the lead Predator, named in the film's credits due to marking himself with an Alien's acidic blood. He is loosely based on Dachande from the book series. Scar forms an alliance with human guide Lex Woods after she impresses him by killing a Xenomorph, and he uses acidic Xenomorph blood to mark her with the hunter symbol. He is mortally wounded when the Xenomorph Queen impales him through the back with her tail, and on the Predator spaceship, a Predalien chestburster erupts from his chest.

Lore & Background
Scar arrives at Bouvet Island with two other Predators — Celtic and Chopper — to participate in an ancient rite of passage. The Predators have been visiting Earth for millennia, teaching early humans how to build pyramids and being worshipped as gods. Once a century, they return to use humans as hosts for Xenomorphs, creating the 'ultimate prey' to hunt. Scar and his companions kill the remaining surface team members and descend into the pyramid. After Chopper is killed by a Xenomorph named Grid and Celtic is killed in battle, Scar spares terminally ill Charles Bishop Weyland due to his illness, but kills him after Weyland challenges him with a makeshift flamethrower. Scar then unmaskes and marks both his mask and forehead with the acidic blood of a facehugger. Later, another facehugger attacks Scar. After Lex Woods kills a Xenomorph, Scar is impressed and uses parts of the alien's corpse to fashion a sword and shield for her, striking up an alliance. Scar detaches and uses the bomb in his Wrist Gauntlet to destroy the pyramid and the remaining Xenomorphs and their eggs. He reaches the surface with Lex and uses acidic Xenomorph blood to mark Lex with the hunter symbol. The Xenomorph Queen reappears and attacks; Scar is mortally wounded when the Queen impales him through the back with her tail. A Predator spaceship retrieves his body, and an elder Predator gives Lex his spear as a gift. On the ship, Scar's body is placed at rest in front of a window, and a Predalien chestburster erupts from his chest.
In Their Own Story
Deep beneath the ice of Bouvet Island, Scar moved through the ancient pyramid, his thermal vision cutting through the darkness. He had watched the humans trigger the structure, trapping themselves. When the Xenomorph Queen awakened and eggs hatched, facehuggers attached to trapped team members. Scar and his fellow Predators engaged the Xenomorphs and humans. After Chopper fell to a Xenomorph named Grid and Celtic was killed, Scar faced Weyland, who used a flare and oxygen breather as a flamethrower. Scar killed him. Later, after witnessing Lex kill a Xenomorph, Scar fashioned a sword and shield for her from the alien's corpse, forging an alliance. Together they fought the Xenomorph Queen. Scar detonated his Wrist Gauntlet bomb to destroy the pyramid, then reached the surface. There, he marked Lex with acidic Xenomorph blood. The Queen attacked; Scar was impaled through the back by her tail. A Predator ship retrieved his body. On the ship, as his comrades placed him at rest, a Predalien chestburster erupted from his chest.
